Gomal University was
established in 1974 by the transfer of Post Graduate
Departments of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Statistics,
and Economics from the local Govt. Post-Graduate College and
the establishment of new departments of Business
administration, Public Administration, Journalism,
Education, and Law College.
Gomal University is one of the reputable universities in Pakistan offering a wide range of courses both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels besides research degree programs in most of the departments.
Gomal University is
the 2nd oldest University of the Province and (probably
the biggest).
Divided into two
campuses, New (main) and City Campus (25%).
