The Department of Psychology

The Department of Psychology was established with all necessary facilities, furnished and well-equipped classrooms, young, energetic and dedicated faculty members and well-equipped laboratory facilities, at Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan to provide a platform for the students of Dera Ismail Khan and nearby districts to learn according to international standards without leaving their hometown. Its vision is to achieve the highest standards of excellence in teaching, learning, research, and professional expertise for our students and faculty and to provide expert professional services to both the on-campus students’ community and the common people in the larger community. Department has a fully equipped laboratory for experimentation, Assessment. A psychology clinic was also established to provide psychotherapeutic services to students, faculty and the general population.
