Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan offers the
following positions for Distance Education Program
on temporary basis initially for a period of one
year (Extendable) as per detail given below.
(1)
Director
Distance Education (One Vacancy)
Fixed Salary of
Rs. 50000/- per month
REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:
a)
PhD/M.Phil
or Master (Foreign) in the relevant discipline from
a recognized University/Institution. Knowledge of MS
Office is mandatory.
b)
Minimum five
years experience out of which minimum two years
should be in relevant field or in management.
c)
The
candidate must have a clear vision and in depth
knowledge in the field of Distance Education (These
qualities will be judged by a power point
presentation by all short listed candidates).
e)
Strong
interpersonal and communication skills are
essential.
f)
Strong
analytical and writing skills are pre-requisite for
this vacancy.
g) Experience
in Distance Education, curriculum development and
examination systems will be preferred.
(2)
Assistant
Director Distance Education (Two vacancies: One with
IT Skills and One with management skills)
Fixed Salary of
Rs. 20000/- Per month
REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:
a)
1st
Class Master’s Degree (2nd class
acceptable for extra ordinary experienced person),
in the relevant discipline. Knowledge of MS Office
is mandatory.
b) Three
years service experience in the relevant field in
the same/equivalent position in any Government /Semi
Government Organization/Autonomous Body/ Recognized
University.
c)
Age limit
28-36 years on closing date of application.
(3)
System
Support Engineer (One Vacancy)
Fixed Salary of
Rs. 15000/- per month
REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:
a)
1st class
Master’s Degree in MIT, MCS, MSc
(Electrical/Electronics) or Bachelor's Degree in BS
(Telecom), B.E (Electrical/Electronics), BIT, BCS or
BCS (Hons).
b)
Experience
in the relevant field will be preferred.
c)
Age:
22-35 years on closing date of the applications.
