Master of  Science Programs:

Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Sports Sciences & Physical Education (1-year & 2-year programs), Mathematics, Physics, Statistics.

Master of  Arts Programs:

Arabic, Business Admn:, Commerce, English, Islamiyat, Mass Communication, Public Admn: M.Ed, MBA(Banking & Finance) Self-Sustaining.

Bachelor Programs:

L.L.B, B.Ed, Pharm-D, D.V.M (Self-Sustaining), B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, BS Telecom, BS Bio-Tech: BCS,BBA, B.Com, BPA (Bachelor of Public Admn)

Diploma Program:

D.P.Ed.

 

Eligibility:

At least 2nd Division (in aggregate) in last requisite examination with 40 % marks in the relevant Subject wherever applicable. For BBA, D.P.Ed and B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture D Grade is permissible.

Age limit: 25 years for Master Program and 22 years for Bachelor Program, relaxable upto 5 years in genuine cases except sports seats. However age restriction is not applicable for in-service employees of Gomal University/Armed Forces & Govt. Departments seeking admission against reserved seats.

Domicile: NWFP for open Merit and for other categories domicile of the relevant areas. For Self-sustaining programs All Pakistan.

Note: Five seats are available for FOREIGN STUDENTS on self-sustaining basis in all programs. Five seats in Mass Communication and one seat in all other Regular Programs whereas five seats for female students in DVM Program are reserved for admission on ALL PAKISTAN BASIS ON NORMAL FEE. One seat each is reserved for candidates for Bhakkar District in some departments. Numbers of seats are reserved for candidates of Northern Areas, Azad Kashmir, Displaced people of Occupied Kashmir, Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan and Army Personnel & their Children, filled on nomination from the authorities concerned. There are seats for FATA, PATA, F/R D.I.Khan &Bannu, Disable and Minorities candidates.

General Information:

Prospectus along –with application form is available in respective departments of the University (both City and New Campus on payment of Rs. 300/- A fee of Rs. 100/- is to be paid for Entry Test wherever applicable. All applications be sent / submitted direct to Heads of Departments/Institution/Faculties/Colleges concerned of the Gomal University. Time barred ( even if mailed earlier) and incomplete applications shall not be entertained.

No separate call letter will issued and all the information about the admission will be notified on the Notice Board of the respective departments.

Application forms can also be download from the University website www.gu.edu.pk and sent to the department concerned along-with Bank Draft of Rs.300/-(in the name of Director Finance, Gomal University).
