1.

Associate Professor (BPS-20) for Law College

 

Ph.D in law OR equivalent degree from HEC recognized University/Institution with 10 years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized university or a post graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization OR 5 years post Ph.D teaching/research experience in a HEC recognized University or a post graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization with 10 publication (with at least 4 publications in the last five years) in HEC recognized journals.              OR

LLM, J.D in Law or equivalent Degree from an HEC recognized University/Institution with 12 years teaching/research experience (with at least 4-years experience after the post-terminal  degree level) in an HEC recognized University or a post graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization with 10 publication (with at least 4 publications in the last five years) in HEC recognized journals

2.

Assistant Professor (BPS-19) for

Law College

 

Ph.D in law or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized University/Institution OR LLM, J.D. or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized University/institution with 4 -years teaching / research experience in a recognized University or a post graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization. OR

LLB degree (1st class) from an HEC recognized university/institution with 6-yeasr teaching /research experience in a recognized University or a post graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization.

3.

Provost (BPS-19)

 

i)1st Class Master’s degree/ LLB  or equivalent with 13  years experience in  administration/  Teaching in BPS-17 &  above in a University/ Post-graduate level Institution  OR   ii) 2nd Class Masters Degree/ LL B or equivalent with 15 years experience in a University / Post-graduate  level Institution. He should be well versed with computer knowledge.

Age 35-50 years

Note:- the statutory requirements are subject to approval of statutes by the Chancellor.

4.

Controller of Examinations

(BPS-20)

 

First Class Master’s degree/ LL.B or equivalent with 20 years experience in Administration/Teaching in BPS-17 or above in the University/ Board /Organization.  OR Second Class Master’s degree/ LL.B or equivalent with 22 years experience in the relevant field in BPS-17 & above in Universities /Board’s Organization/ Corporation.

Age 42-50

Note: The above mentioned requirements are subject to approval of Statutes by the Chancellor.
 

5.

Lecturer (BPS-18) in Zoology for University WENSAM College

 

1st Class Master Degree OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with no 3rd division in the academic career from HEC recognized University/institution. The candidates holds a higher degree viz M.Phil/Ph.D or equivalent degree with only one 3rd division in the academic career will be considered eligible

Senior Master (BPS-17) for University WENSAM College

 

2nd Class Master’s Degree with 2nd class B.Ed and seven years teaching experience in a recognized educational institution OR 2nd class B.A/ B.Sc with 2nd class B.Ed and 10 years teaching experience in a recognized educational institution.

Senior Mistress (BPS-17) for Nursery & Primary Section University WENSAM College

2nd Class Master’s Degree with 2nd class B.Ed and seven years teaching experience in a recognized educational institution OR 2nd class B.A/ B.Sc with 2nd class B.Ed and 10 years teaching experience in a recognized educational institution.

9.

SET (Male) BPS-16 for University WENSAM College

B.Sc with combination of Physics & Mathematics OR Chemistry & Zoology/Botany with B.Ed

Agriculture Tutor (BPS-16) for University WENSAM College

B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture

Master in Computer Science two years program after B.Sc/BCS/BIT in 2nd division OR B.Sc with computer science as one subject with two years experience

F.A/F.Sc with JAV / CT Course.

Matric with Sanad of Wafaq-ul-Madaras/ Honor in Arabic

15.

Mess Munshi (BPS-5)

Matric from a recognized Board with typing speed of 25 words per minute with some compute skill. Note: the above mentioned requirements are subject to approval of Statutes by the Chancellor.

Age 18-25 years but relaxable in suitable cases 

 
 

Miscellaneous Information

1.      Applications complete in all respect on prescribed form obtainable from establishment section, Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan and also available on University Website www.gu.edu.pk accompanied attested copies of the testimonials (with detailed marks certificates showing total marks / marks obtained from SSC to Master), Experience certificate, National ID card, and a bank draft worth Rs: 500/- (non refundable) drawn in favour of the Director Finance, Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan or bank receipt of Rs. 500/- (non refundable) deposited in account No. 595-3, National Bank of Pakistan, Gomal University Branch in favour of Director Finance, Gomal University must reach the undersigned on or before 31.5.2010 during the office hours. Incomplete applications & applications reaching to this office after the last date will not be entertained.

2.      The Candidates for the post of Associate Professor mentioned at Sr. No. 1  is required to submit five sets of applications along with all relevant documents and reprints of the minimum required publications, list of all the publications in HEC recognized journals. Bank draft in the name of Director Finance, Gomal University or bank receipt of Rs. 500/- as application fee and Rs. 1500/- as research papers evaluation fee deposited in account No. 595-3 in the  National Bank of Pakistan, Gomal University Branch in favour of Director Finance, Gomal University must be attached.

3.      The applicants should submit their separate application for each category.

4.      The candidates serving in Government, Semi Government, Autonomous bodies should route their applications through proper channel.

5.       Only Short listed candidates, five candidates per post who secured higher marks in academic qualifications, plus experience plus screening test for the post in BPS-17 will be called for interview. The Screening test for the post in BPS-5 to BPS-16 is as per decision of the Vice Chancellor.

6.      The service rendered previously by the candidates under the Federal Govt:, Provincial Govt:, Autonomous/Semi Autonomous body in lower grades shall also be taken in to account in computing the prescribed length of service as per approved evaluation proforma for administrative posts in BPS-17,18. 19 & 20.

7.      The Gomal University reserves the right not to fill any post, withhold the appointment against any advertised post and/or to accept / reject any application without assigning any reason.
